This charming half-timbered apartment in Lauterbach, East Hesse, offers 120 m² of living space for two guests.
It features one bedroom and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with adjoining dining area.
The bathroom includes a large corner bathtub and a roomy shower.
On the second floor, you'll find a cozy living room with access to a private rooftop terrace.
Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, smart TV, washing machine, and a dedicated workspace. Enjoy sunsets on your rooftop terrace overlooking the historic half-timbered roofs of the old town.
You have access to the garden with loungers directly by the Lauter river.
A green city garden is just a two-minute walk away. Parking is available both at the house and on the street.
A shuttle service to the train station is available on request.
The hosts run a film production company on the ground floor and are happy to assist with any questions or requests. You’ll stay centrally in the heart of Lauterbach in the beautiful Vogelsberg volcanic region, directly by the Lauter on a quiet, traffic-calmed residential street.
The picturesque old town center with restaurants and shops is within easy walking distance.
Numerous cycling and hiking trails start right outside your door, and a wine and cocktail bar is right next door.
The Hoherodskopf recreation area, with panoramic views to the Rhine-Main region, many hiking trails, cross-country ski runs, and a summer toboggan run, is only a 15-minute drive away. Please note: Access to the living room and rooftop terrace on the second floor is via a steep, narrow staircase.

Die Wohnung ist sehr ansprechend, mit toller Dachterrasse. Viele liebevolle Details machen einen Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.
Die Deckenbalkenhöhe ist teilweise sehr niedrig.

Die Wohnung ist super eingerichtet. Gross und wunderschoen mit allen moeglichen unerwarteten Annehmlichkeiten. Gut zum entspannen.
Es gibt vom Vermieter noch einen Biergarten und einen Eiswagen vor der Tuer. Bequem und praktisch, aber macht die nette Stimmung des Ortes etwas kaputt, weil es eher touristisch wirkt. Wir haben es vorgezogen in ein Lokal/Cafe in der Altstadt zu gehen.

Harmonische Einrichtung; Lage der Unterkunft
Leider war die Dachterrasse nicht nutzbar wegen einem Wasserschaden. Das hätte ich gerne vor der Anreise gewusst und nicht erst nach der Anreise. Zumal der Schaden nicht erst kurz vorher entstanden ist.
