Welcome to Al Torrione 1, an authentic retreat set within the ancient walls of Monte Sant’Angelo, in the most charming part of the historic center.
Located in the same historic building as the Tancredi Museum, it offers some of the town’s most beautiful panoramic views.
Enjoy breathtaking vistas of the sea and mountains in a unique, peaceful setting rich in history. The apartment has been carefully renovated, preserving the original stone arches and style.
It features a spacious, bright room with a double bed, equipped kitchenette, dining area, and a modern bathroom with a large shower.
The intimate, relaxing atmosphere is perfect for couples and travelers seeking authenticity. Just steps away: - Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo (UNESCO), a pilgrimage site - Norman-Swabian Castle, with views over the Gulf of Manfredonia - Junno district, full of picturesque corners - Tomb of Rotari and Museum of Arts and Folk Traditions Nearby: - Umbra Forest, ideal for hiking - Vieste, Peschici, Manfredonia: coastal villages to discover - San Giovanni Rotondo and the Tremiti Islands, easily reached Getting here: By car: SS 89, parking nearby By train: Foggia station + local bus By air: Bari or Foggia airports Note: The house is in the historic center on slightly elevated levels; comfortable shoes are recommended.

Schönes Zimmer für Kurzaufenthalt

Das Zimmer ist frisch renoviert, es gibt alles was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt benötigt, ideal für zwei Personen. Zentrale Nähe zum „Zentrum“, man kann zu Fuß hinlaufen. Außerdem hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf das Meer. Die Gastgeberin stand immer zur Verfügung übers Telefon.
Technische Mängel waren vorhanden (Spüle tropft, defektes Türschloss), die aber wohl noch behoben werden. Die Parkplatzsituation vor Ort ist sehr schwierig. Ein kleiner Willkommensgruß der Gastgeberin hätte uns auch noch gefreut (z.B. kühles Getränk im Kühlschrank). Toilettenpapier war leider auch sehr knapp bemessen.
