Welcome to Le Antiche Mansioni 1, a gem in the heart of Monte Sant’Angelo’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
This studio, created from ancient local buildings, has been carefully renovated to blend the authenticity of stone vaults with modern comfort. You’ll be immersed in a truly lived-in historic center, where every corner tells a story.
The space features a cozy open-plan room with a double bed, equipped kitchenette, dining table, and a modern bathroom with a spacious shower. Explore on foot: - Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo (UNESCO), a sacred cave and pilgrimage site - Norman-Swabian Castle, offering views of the Gulf of Manfredonia - Junno district, the oldest area, with charming alleys and views - Tomb of Rotari and Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions Nearby: - Umbra Forest, perfect for hiking and nature walks - Vieste, Peschici, Manfredonia: beautiful seaside towns with beaches - San Giovanni Rotondo, a spiritual destination - Tremiti Islands and sea caves, accessible by ferry or boat tour - Experiences: tastings of olive oil, caciocavallo cheese, local wines, horseback riding How to get here: By car: SS 89, free parking a few minutes’ walk away By train: Foggia station + bus By plane: Bari or Foggia airports The house is in the historic center in an area with steps: comfortable shoes recommended.
