Nestled in the hills west of Lucca, about 90 meters above sea level and 10 km (20 minutes) from the city walls, the holiday home "La Capanna di Arturo Ground Floor" offers you a beautiful view of the Pisan mountains, with Pisa and the Tyrrhenian Sea beyond.
The farmhouse is part of a courtyard surrounded by olive trees, dating back to the 1700s, carefully restored and furnished in a "Country Chic" style.
It consists of two units, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, each with its own private entrance. The ground floor, accessible without steps, features a spacious living room of about 30 sqm, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms, accommodating up to 4 guests.
Upon request, an additional single bed can be arranged in the living room. Amenities include Wi-Fi (ideal for browsing and checking emails; the rural hillside location encourages digital disconnection), TV, air conditioning, books and toys for children, crib, and high chair. The holiday home offers a private outdoor area with a garden and barbecue facilities. There is also a shared outdoor space with the first-floor unit, where you can relax in the peaceful surroundings, use sun loungers, deck chairs, and access a small gym with fitness equipment. The location is strategic: Pisa (30 min), the sea (30 min), Florence (50 min), Pistoia (30 min), and Livorno (40 min) are all easily reachable. Nearby you will find restaurants, bars, and supermarkets.
Public transport is 500 meters away. Local attractions include the villages of Vicopisano (20 min), Montecarlo (20 min), Lake Gherardesca (10 min), Camellietum Compitese Botanical Garden (10 min), and the Certosa di Calci (30 min). One pet is allowed for an extra fee.

Het huis met zijn prachtige Italiaanse sfeer.
Erg veel prikkende muscitto s, maar daar kan de verhuurder natuurlijk niets aan doen.

We were looking for a quiet place to stay near Lucca, shopping and nice restaurants are within easy reach in the area. We are very satisfied with accommodation and the landlord had given us many tips and excursion destinations for the area. Everything Perfect

Our stay was excellent. We enjoyed the talks with the owner of the house. It is quiet, lonesome but amazing area. Olive trees in the garden as far as you can see. Vacation as shown in every Tuscan movie. The appartment itself is okay, depending in what you need. For us it was sufficient and excellent. Other people may need more kitchen equipment. Thanks for this unforgettable time.
