This holiday home is perfect for families or friends.
Located on the edge of a forest in northern Berry, at the gateway to Sologne, it offers beautiful walks.
The small town of Vignoux-sur-Barangeon provides various local shops (newsagent, cafés, restaurants, wine cellar, hairdresser, market). The accommodation is on the first floor and is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
The gîte features an entrance, a living-dining room (with an extra BZ sofa bed 140x190, TV, free WiFi), a balcony with dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room, a separate toilet, and two bedrooms (one with a 140x190 bed, the other with three 90x190 beds; baby bed and travel cot available on request). The laundry room with washing machine is in the basement.
Enjoy a 1,000 m² enclosed garden with barbecue and outdoor furniture.
The property is heated by electric radiators. Nearby, you’ll find the forest just 2 minutes away on foot, a sports field, tennis court, football pitch, and pétanque area (opposite the post office). Local attractions include: • Mehun-sur-Yèvre with its Charles VII castle, clock tower, and Duc Jean de Berry’s gardens • Berry Canal cycle path (5 min by bike) • Porcelain route • Bourges (30 min) for the Jacques Cœur Palace, UNESCO-listed Saint-Étienne Cathedral, medieval center, and summer Blue Lights Trail • Wine tourism in the Quincy (10 min), Reuilly (20 min), and Sancerre vineyards (1 hr; voted France’s most beautiful village in 2021) • Val d’Auron lake in Bourges (sailing, rowing, swimming, fishing, etc.) • La Borne pottery (35 min) • Loire castles Cleaning service available for an extra fee. J'ai louer le gîte pour ma famille pour la période de Noël. La maison est très cocooning. Bien équipé il y a tout le nécessaire pour se sentir bien et être dans le confort. Les propriétaires autant monsieur que madame, sont très accueillant et chaleureux.
