This traditional Vendée farmhouse is ideally located about 5 km from the beaches of La Tranche sur Mer and La Faute sur Mer, as well as cycling paths.
Nearly 1,800 km of trails await nature lovers, including the famous "Vélodyssée" along the Atlantic coast.
In St Michel en l'Herm, you’ll find all essential shops: bakery, pharmacy, mini-market, and restaurant. The gîte offers 3 bedrooms, a spacious fully equipped kitchen (oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave), a dining room for up to 8 people, a living area with TV, a bathroom with shower, and a separate toilet. A large terrace with garden furniture lets you enjoy a peaceful setting.
The fenced, tree-lined property has secure parking and an automatic gate. Enjoy a beautiful covered pool (open in summer) for family swims.
A pétanque court and volleyball court are also available. Regional activities: beaches less than 10 minutes away, Luçon 15 minutes (bowling, market, cinema, pool, shops), water park 20 minutes, adventure park 25 minutes, La Rochelle 25 minutes, Puy du Fou 1 hour, Marais Poitevin 35 minutes, Île de Ré 50 minutes, zoo 1h40, Nantes 1h30. Nous avons passé une belle semaine dans cette maison et en repartons avec de bons souvenirs.
Les points positifs sont nombreux :
grande piscine à 30 °C,
maison spacieuse avec 3 grandes chambres (lit double),
salon confortable,
espaces verts,
grande table extérieure,
maison naturellement fraîche...
Quelques améliorations pourraient néanmoins être apportées :
le Wi-Fi est perfectible ;
l'absence de clé aux WC et SDE est surprenante ;
une plaque de cuisson au gaz était défectueuse ;
il manquait du matériel de nettoyage ;
le mitigeur présentait une légère fuite ;
quelques poussières et toiles d'a...
