Just 20 minutes from Luçon, 40 minutes from the sandy beaches of Vendée, 45 minutes from La Rochelle, Île de Ré, and La Roche-sur-Yon, 25 minutes from Mervent Lake, its zoo, and Vouvant, and 1 hour from Puy du Fou park.
This cottage is set in a Natura 2000 protected area, perfect for peace and relaxation, on a 2-hectare property with woods and canals.
Le Bas Marais is in the Marais Poitevin, in southern Vendée. It's the ideal hideaway to enjoy the pool in the morning and the ocean in the afternoon. This cozy, intimate cottage sleeps 2. You have a lovely living area with a lounge (TV) and a fully equipped kitchen (washing machine, electric oven, microwave). There’s one bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190) and a spacious bathroom. Adjoining the Tournesol cottage, each accommodation has its own private garden separated by shrubs, a terrace, barbecue, garden furniture, and loungers, all facing the canal. The heated, secure pool is open from mid-May to late August (weather permitting), from 9:30 am to 9 pm. Outdoor games include football, badminton, ping-pong, volleyball, darts, swings, slide, and Molkky.
Bicycles are available, and you can take a boat trip on the Canal des Hollandais. Fishing enthusiasts are welcome—bring your own gear.
Free Wi-Fi. Pets are not allowed. Bed linen and towels can be reserved in advance for an extra charge; your bed will be made on arrival.
Cleaning is available for an extra fee, to be arranged when booking.
Underfloor electric heating is available for an extra charge.
Baby equipment is provided free of charge on request (made-up cot, high chair, baby bath). Some basic supplies are provided free.

Nous avions réservé les 3 gîtes pour des vacances en famille.
Les 3 gîtes sont irréprochables. Rien ne manque. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, serviables et disponibles tout en restant très discrets.
La mise à disposition de jeux, de vélos et la piscine chauffée sont très appréciables. Rien à dire, si ce n'est que nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
