The Cabane de la Grande Ourse is located in Banne, southern Ardèche, in the hamlet of Petit Brahic, and is rated 2 stars.
This new 38 m² wooden cottage is eco-friendly and comfortable, blending perfectly into its natural surroundings.
Ideal for relaxing and enjoying outdoor activities year-round, it accommodates up to 4 guests and offers beautiful mountain views. Set above the owner’s house, with no direct view between them, the cabin sits on an 80 m² tree-shaded terrace facing southeast.
There’s a herb and berry garden available in season, and a built spring welcomes you at the entrance. The rental features an 18 m² living room with a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a 140x190 cm double bed, a bathroom with shower and sink, and dry toilets located outside nearby.
There’s also an 8 m² covered terrace and a cozy wooden interior.
A high chair for babies is available.
Wired internet (RJ45) is provided; no Wi-Fi. Free parking is 30 m away, with access on foot via a path.
Shared electric charging station. Beds are made on arrival.
Towels, toilet paper, basic kitchen and cleaning supplies are provided.
One pet allowed.
Private garden and surrounding nature for outdoor lovers. Not accessible for people with reduced mobility. Banne is 2 km away, Saint-Paul-le-Jeune 1 km (shops, markets, greenway), Les Vans 11 km, Vallon-Pont-d’Arc and Chauvet Cave 2 at 26 km, Aubenas 43 km, Alès 32 km, Nîmes 75 km. Many walking trails start at the property (20 min to 3 hrs), Bois de Païolive, swimming in the Chassezac and climbing 15 min away, La Gagnière river 20 min away.

Plus qu'une "cabane", c'est un vrai havre de paix, avec un très grand confort : tout a été pensé dans les détails et avec soin pour rendre notre séjour agréable, dans un environnement paisible avec des nuits très étoilées. L'occasion de se reconnecter à la nature et de se retrouver parmi les élément...
