FOR RENT in Rio Elba: charming apartment located in a pedestrian alley in the historic center.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a typical old building, accessible only on foot from the alley in the upper part of Rio Elba.
Romantic and welcoming, it has been recently renovated in Tuscan style and can accommodate up to 4 guests.
It features a kitchenette, double bed, double sofa bed, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, bathroom with shower, and washing machine. The center of Rio Elba is just a few minutes' walk down the alley to the main square.
Public parking is about 500 meters away, subject to availability.
Ortano beach is 3 km away and can be reached by car in a few minutes; there is ample parking on site.
The beach has mixed sand and offers services such as umbrella rental and diving, available for an extra fee. Rio Elba is an ancient medieval village on a hill overlooking the coast, with narrow winding streets and historic buildings like the Church of San Niccolò, Volterraio Castle, and the Town Hall.
Nearby, you will find Rio Marina with supermarkets, restaurants, events, and the Mining Museum, as well as seaside resorts like Nisporto, Nisportino, Ortano, Topinetti, Cavo, and Porticciolo.
The area is known for its beaches, bays, rocks, and coves—an ideal destination for tourists.
You can take PADI diving courses, rent boats, canoes, or e-bikes with guided tours in the mining park, all available for an extra fee. Rio nell'Elba also offers trekking, biking, horse riding, water sports, and excellent local cuisine.

Appartamento molto carino..arredato con cucina moderna dotata di tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari, unico difetto un pò umido ma si risolve abbastanza il problema con un deumidificatore elettrico in dotazione. Borgo molto grazioso!
La posizione non è comoda e il parcheggio è molto difficoltoso in quanto i posti gratuiti vicini sono pochi e sempre occupati, quelli lontani gratuiti pure..rimangono quelli lontani a pagamento, oppure bisogna spostarsi ulteriormente per trovare parcheggio libero. Non adatto a persone con ridotta mo...
