Görisried is located in the heart of the Allgäu. The historic holiday home Armenhaus 1828 welcomes you with 165 m² of living space and accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms.
Two additional guests can stay in a mattress loft.
The house features 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, wood-burning stoves with firewood, and a workspace.
Both a covered and an open terrace as well as a private garden are available. Enjoy the garden and terraces surrounded by nature, right by the forest stream.
A public footbridge leads you to the Görisried natural swimming pool—perfect for swimming in summer or ice bathing in winter.
The sports facility with tennis court and football fields, as well as the nature trail "Am Krautgarten," are just 150 m away. You have 3 parking spaces and 1 garage spot.
A bike storage room is also available.
The house is an ideal base for tours through the Kemptener Forest, to the suspension bridge over the Wertach, or to the "Wildberger Hof" alpine pasture. Built in 1828 as a poorhouse and used as a kindergarten from 1939 to 1945, the home combines original charm with modern comfort after renovation.
In the village, you’ll find a grocery store, butcher, restaurants, medical care, and banks.
Görisried is surrounded by nature and close to popular tourist destinations, offering you a straightforward and authentic holiday experience. Tourist highlights like the Alpspitzbahn Nesselwang (15 km), Füssen (37 km), Kempten (21 km), and Neuschwanstein Castle (38 km) are within easy reach. Your hosts live on-site, but not in the booked house.
