2 bedrooms sleeps 4. A luxuriously finished cabin perched on the rugged coastline of the Aughrus peninsula, between Claddaghduff and Cleggan on Connemara’s Wild Atlantic Way. A perfect space for families, friends, and couples to share.
Wonderful coastal walks start at your doorstep and deserted beaches with clear water are close by. You will not be disappointed with the unrivalled views around every corner as you explore the region. The tidal island of Omey is also nearby and can be accessed by car or by foot at low tide. The ferry to Inisbofin Island, a popular tourist location, is also located at Cleggan pier. This is a lovely experience for a day trip for family and friends. Connemara National Park is just 15 minutes by car and can be accessed from nearby Letterfrack village. The park boasts wonderful hill and woodland trails for all to enjoy. A little further along is Kylemore Abbey and Victorian Gardens which offer a wonderful experience for visitors. Boat tours are available close by at Killary Fjord and Letterfrack Bay.
Claddaghduff village offers a grocery store and a bar, and Cleggan village offers a grocery store, bars, restaurants, and cafés. Both villages can provide you with all you need for your self-catering stay. Clifden town can be reached within 10 minutes by car and hosts larger supermarkets, additional bars, restaurants, café’s, shops and galleries.

2 bedrooms, sleeps 2. This cabin is finished to a very high standard with lots of luxurious finishes. The accommodation is all on one level and consists of a combined kitchen, dining and living room, a double bedroom, twin bedroom with two single beds, bathroom and utility area. Wi-Fi is included.
Access to the cabin, from its private driveway through the sliding patio front door into the open plan kitchen and living space. The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. It includes electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine, fridge freezer and ample tableware and cookware. The dining area includes a dining table and seating for four people. The living room area is furnished with comfortable sofa, side table, and includes multi-channel smart TV. The adjoining utility area houses the washing and tumble dryer machine.
The main bathroom provides a large shower, WC & sink. Two bedrooms complete the accommodation. Bedroom 1 has a double size bed and provides ample storage for all your belongings. The second bedroom is a twin with two single beds and again ample storage. The cabin is electrically heated throughout. Bed linen and towels are provided. Travel cot and highchair available. Heating, electricity, and Wi-Fi is included in the rental price. Smoking is not allowed. Sorry, no pets.
Private parking is available on site for one car. Short breaks are available.
A security deposit of €200 is required for this property. Our reservations team will arrange this with guests prior to arrival. Pre-authorisation of a payment card will be required.
