Welcome to this spacious and cozy holiday home in Hjälmvik, beautifully located in the scenic Bohuslän countryside.
You'll be surrounded by fields and grazing cows – while the sea is just a short walk away.
It's the perfect place for those seeking peace, nature, and easy access to both the coast and everyday conveniences. The house is 108 sqm and accommodates up to 6 guests + one baby.
It features three bedrooms: one with a double bed (160 cm) and a baby cot, one with a bunk bed (2×90 cm), and a guest cottage with two single beds (90 cm). The living areas are open and bright with two dining areas, a cozy lounge with fireplace, TV with Chromecast, and a selection of games and books.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, and coffee maker.
The bathroom has both a shower and bathtub, and there is a separate laundry room with washing machine. Outdoors, you'll find two terraces – one sheltered with parasol and wooden chairs, and one newly built deck with a grill, lounge furniture, and views over the fields.
There are three parking spaces on the property.
The house is well-insulated for year-round use and features a heat pump and wood-burning stove. Special care has been taken for your four-legged companions: dogs are warmly welcome at no extra cost.
A soft dog bed, food and water bowls, and even a little goodie bag await them. Things to do in Hjälmvik and surroundings: The peaceful rural location offers both calm and proximity to amenities.
The sea with cliff bathing is just 3.2 km away, and fishing opportunities are only 1 km from the house.
The nearest shop and restaurant are in Varekil, about 3 km away.
Henån (18 km) and coastal gems like Mollösund, Skärhamn, and Käringön are easily reached by car for day trips.
There are also several beautiful hiking trails nearby for nature lovers. Good to know about this accommodation: • A deposit of 2000 SEK is required and must be paid on arrival.
It will be refunded approximately one week after departure if the house is left in acceptable condition • Final cleaning is NOT included – guests clean themselves • Bed linen: Can be rented for 190 SEK/person • Towels: Can be rented for 60 SEK/person • Pets allowed – unlimited number • Smoking indoors is prohibited • No youth groups or parties allowed • Charging electric vehicles is NOT permitted • Electricity is included
