With a view of the lake, the renovated and charming shepherd’s hut 'Amselnest' in Oelsnitz/Vogtland offers a private terrace overlooking the water and greenery.
The 12 m² hut features a combined living and sleeping area with a bed, a sleeper chair, wardrobe, and mobile seating and dining options.
The bathroom is equipped with a modern shower and toilet.
Amenities include a kitchenette, Wi-Fi, TV, electric heating, and books for all ages. Amselnest provides a small private outdoor area with seating and a grill, plus a separate terrace with lounge furniture.
Located in a nature reserve, the shepherd’s hut invites you to hike with or without your dog, fish, swim, surf, or go boating.
Nearby you’ll find a playground, kiosk, table tennis, and a rental station for rowing boats and fishing permits.
A sailing school is about 5 minutes away. Nearby highlights include Bad Elster, Hof, Plohn amusement park, and zoos.
The Czech Republic is about 30 minutes away.
Public transport is within walking distance.
Parking is available on the property.
Families with children are welcome. One pet is allowed (for an extra fee). Dogs up to 30–40 cm shoulder height are accepted and must be leashed at all times.
Smoking and parties are not permitted.
Two e-scooters, two bikes, a stand-up paddle board, and a canoe are available free of charge on site, subject to availability.
There is also a secure bike shelter with charging for e-bikes.
A small self-service shop offers ice cream, drinks, and daily essentials.

Sehr schönes, gemütliches tiny House. Mit super Ausstattung, wir waren voll zufrieden.
Das kleine Manko, wenn das Tiny House vorne einen keinen Zaun hätte. Da ja ein Hund erlaubt ist, könnte man ihn auch rauslassen. Ohne ihn anzuleinen oder aufzupassen wie ein Schießhund.

Es war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und es hat nichts gefehlt.
Da die Unterkunft auf dem Privatgrundstück des Vermieters war und wir unseren Hund dabei hatten, wäre ein Zaun hilfreich gewesen.
Es war ein kleiner entspannter Traum.

Die Umgebung, das Häuschen, die Terrasse, die Ausstattung, die schönen einzelnen kleinen Details, die freundlichen Besitzer. Das Angebot mit den E Rollern. Die Ruhe. Die Nähe zum See.
Die Eingangstür muss unten etwas abgeschliffen werden,klemmt arg. Und der Griff der Bad Tür von innen, unterhalb ist locker, müsste neu angeklebt werden. Am Fenster beim Bett, geht links die Leiste u. Tapete ab.
