Uder is a district of the rural community Uder in the district Eichsfeld and is located in the north of Thuringia, bordering the states of Hesse and Lower Saxony and has 2688 inhabitants.
Uder is located in the valley of the Leine and four kilometers from the district town Heilbad Heiligenstadt.
