Located in the quiet backyard of the canal house "Simmerdeis an der Gracht", the loft apartment 2 has a roof terrace and a view of the inner courtyard.
A dining area on the terrace allows for wonderful indoor and outdoor living in summer.
The charming, high-quality loft for 1 - 3 people was built in 2023 in an old factory building.
Separate bedroom, pull-out sofa bed, underfloor heating, a well-equipped kitchen and spacious interior offer everything loft lovers could wish for. The market square is just a 2-minute walk away and access to the canal and Treene is right outside the door, where you can paddle your own kayaks and SUPs.
It is also ideal for dog owners, as there are green strips and footpaths everywhere, which run directly along the shore without cars. "Simmerdeis an der Gracht" consists of two adjacent canal houses and two lofts in the backyard and is located in the small Dutch town of Friedrichstadt, also affectionately known as "Little Amsterdam". The small resort is located directly on the canal, from where you can paddle directly onto the canals or the Treene with two in-house canoes and two SUPs.
Restaurants, cafés and quaint stores are just around the corner on the market square.
Of course, you can book the resort with its individual units for larger groups or with several friends or family members to be together in one beautiful place, but the two houses and the lofts are usually booked independently of each other.
The proximity is there and connected by the attractive courtyard, but each unit also has its own outdoor area, so privacy is assured.
The kitchens are well equipped with dishwasher, stove, oven, and all the usual kitchen tools needed for cooking, even for longer stays.
The large canal house also has an extra yoga room with the typical equipment, which you can book for small yoga retreats or meditation courses or just for yourself for an extra charge (10 euros per day). The bathrooms are mainly equipped with walk-in showers and each bathroom has a hairdryer, make-up mirror, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, soap, body lotion and towels in various sizes per person are of course also provided.
All units are equipped with smart TVs so that you can watch series and a large selection of movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime on your personal account.
Fast WiFi for home office stays and bed linen for each guest are of course available.
Your landlady is a North Frisian herself and not far away if help is needed or there are any queries.

Frau Sebelin hatte mir schon im Vorfeld die Sorge genommen, dass mein alter Hund die Treppe nicht schaffen könnte, indem Sie mir ein Foto und eine Erklärung schickte. Nicht nur, dass die Küche vollständig eingerichtet ist, nein es standen auch selbstgemachte Marmelade, Honig und frische Eier bereit...
