The area offers a variety of leisure activities for all weather conditions, including the Marlow waterways, the Amber Museum in Ribnitz-Damgarten, an adventure village in Rövershagen, the Maritime Museum and Ozeaneum in Stralsund, Rostock Zoo, the seaside resort of Warnemünde, and the Salt Museum in Bad Sülze.
