"Waldgästehaus Externsteine" - Arrive - relax - enjoy nature
The Waldgästehaus Externsteine in the idyllic mountain village of Holzhausen-Externsteine (part of Horn-Bad Meinberg) is the perfect accommodation for a relaxing vacation and the starting point for a variety of nature-related activities as well as cultural and historical experiences.
The two-storey guest house has a small hallway on the first floor and a fully equipped kitchen with a cozy sitting area.
On the first floor there is a bedroom, a hallway with a built-in wardrobe, a living room and a bathroom.
The accommodation therefore offers plenty of space for 2 people. Facilities also include Wi-Fi with a dedicated workstation for working from home, a Smart TV with streaming services and a washing machine.
Two benches in the outdoor area invite you to enjoy your morning coffee or end the day with a glass of red wine. Free parking is available on the street.
Pets, smoking and events are not permitted. Public transportation, hiking trails, bicycle and mountain bike tours, a lake, the Externsteine and the ruins of Falkenburg Castle are within walking distance of the vacation home.
A wellness area with pool is also located nearby.
Just a 5-minute drive away is the spa town of Bad Meinberg with Yoga Vidya, the largest yoga center in Europe.
The cultural city of Detmold, with its numerous theaters, museums and charming old town, is around 15 minutes away by car. This accommodation has guidelines to help guests separate waste correctly.

Kleine, aber für einen Kurzurlaub völlig ausreichende Ferienwohnung. Ruhige Umgebung aber trotzdem ist man schnell bei touristischen Zielen. Die Wanderwege beginnen quasi vor der Haustür. Top!
