Our guest house has a double bed downstairs and with a dock on the mezzanine where limited headroom is two more beds. The small kitchen in the guest room is separated from the bathroom by means of swing doors behind which are a spacious rain shower, toilet and sink.
There is a private terrace and trampolines in the garden.
On the dike there is free parking. A good supermarket with restaurant is 100 meters away. The guesthouse is located nationwide but with bus, tram or metro you are within 15 minutes in the center of the canals belt of Amsterdam. From our location it is also nice to cycle to the old villages such as Ransdorp, Durgerdam and Holysloot. There are 4 bicycles available. Day trips to Marken, Volendam, Zaanse schans and Keukenhof are also easily accessible.
That is why we call this place the best of both worlds.

Kleines gemütliches BnB, zum Übernachten und Amsterdam erkundigen sehr gut. Sehr nette und hilfreiche Besitzerin, die Sauberkeit ist im Grunde gut, aber wenn man genauer hinsieht gibt es noch etwas Luft nach oben.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay @ Marietta’s retreat in the Noord. The location was ideal for balancing the energy and intensity of the city with the calm and comfort of a semi-“rural” retreat. We took full advantage of the location’s easy access to a wide variety of activities and attractions. Mariette was warm and welcoming, with the best recommendations for Dutch cuisine & sight seeing.

We stayed for a month and had the absolute best time. Mariette is an incredible host, so friendly, helpful and kind. This place is truly a hidden gem, with beautiful scenery, wonderful neighbors and a great place to relax. The space had everything we needed and more. We already want to come back!
