The house is 2 minutes from the Giardini del Sole sports complex which offers many different sports including mini-golf, tennis, volleyball and five-a-side football. The city of Lecce (25 minutes) is famous for its wonderful Baroque architecture as well as its Roman ruins.

It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit, not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.

For a wide range of local produce, the twice-weekly market in Lecce is a treasure trove of the finest regional produce from fish, vegetables and fruit to olive oil and cheese. The closest airport is at Brindisi - just over an hour away by car.
