If you feel like taking to the open sea, there are regular boat shuttles from the Thiers jetty to Cap Ferret, Ile aux oiseaux and the famous cabanes tchanquées! The Banc d'Arguin, transparent water, paradise on earth! Great bike rides thanks to the many cycle paths along the Bassin, with many bike rental companies in Arcachon.
