This absolutely exceptional vacation apartment was created in 2022 by the renovation of the listed boiler house of the historic malt beer brewery to Achern.
The apartment with loft character has its own fenced garden, 4m ceiling height, a high-quality kitchen, underfloor heating / cooling.
The garden with terrace offers space for children and pets, a BBQ Smoker and two simple Holland bikes are available for guests to use.
Dogs are generally allowed.
Due to the open loft-like architecture, the apartment does not have separate bedrooms. Two sleeping places are created on a very comfortable 1.60m sofa bed (with topper on request). On a gallery there are one or two more sleeping places (a proper full-size double bed 180 x 200 cm) for guests who are free of giddiness. Especially for children the gallery with the glass window and view into the night sky is an experience.
In the direct neighborhood there is a coffee roastery in a historical ambience and a pasta and pizza manufactory. The location is close to the center of Achern, but absolutely quiet due to the location in the backyard.
Within a 20-minute drive, guests can reach the half-timbered village of Sasbachwalden, which offers a variety of gastronomic options, hiking opportunities and wine cellars.
Here there are extensive mountain bike routes, a runway for paragliders, a summer toboggan run and a climbing park, hiking trails including a section of the GR20 Westweg and in the wider area many typical Black Forest sights.
The French border is just a 15-minute drive away and the city of Strasbourg is another 10 minutes away.
