Fun features can be found throughout: bar stools are actually wrought iron tractor seats and a headboard has been made from vintage wooden wine boxes.
Each floor has two bedrooms, making it eminently suitable for two families or indeed multi generations of one family. The living/dining room and kitchen flow seamlessly onto the terrace, which has been designed for outdoor living.
Dedicated dining and seating areas overlook the pool area, seen through the contemporary glass panelled fence.
The pool sits just below, surrounded by decking and terrace.
Palm, fig and olive trees provide dappled shade in the garden and to the rear of the house, a small boules area will no doubt be enjoyed by many. Glimpsed from the garden, the ‘village perché’ of Cabris is only 6km away, easily accessible for a spot of lunch in the square.
Just below Lou Lume, Peymeinade offers all amenities including a supermarket and a selection of restaurants.
Continue eastwards and you reach Grasse (9km) where the history of perfume can be discovered in the town’s famous perfumeries.
For something more active, Grasse also has a golf course.
Water sports (boating, canoeing and swimming) can be enjoyed on Lake St Cassien (16km) and for those who prefer to swim in the sea, the nearest beaches are at Mandelieu-La Napoule (20km).
