Etxeparea – Spacious Family Home in the Heart of the Basque Country
Welcome to Etxeparea, our large family house in Ustaritz, perfect for up to 15 guests with 8 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Etxeparea is a true family home, full of history, character, and charming signs of time.
Here, you won’t find a new house with standard finishes—instead, you’ll enjoy space, warmth, and authenticity. The house is ideal for travelers looking for a welcoming place to share great moments together.
Enjoy the large garden, barbecue, balcony, and ample parking, while easily exploring Bayonne, Biarritz, and all the treasures of the Basque Country. Cycling enthusiasts can reach Bayonne from Ustaritz along the river via a bike path.
The house also offers a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, washing machine, and TV. It’s about an 18-minute drive from Biarritz Airport. Pets are welcome.
However, parties and events are not allowed.
The house does not have air conditioning, but its thick old walls keep it pleasantly cool. We are delighted to share our home with you. Welcome to Etxeparea!

Nous sommes une troupe de théâtre du Lot et Garonne, composée de 15 personnes qui avons passés 4 jours dans cette maison! Idéàle pour un groupe, nous recommandons cette location! L'hôte nous a reçu avec beaucoup de gentillesse!

Jacques, the owner, was very helpful
The house has loads of space and the building from 1.777 is beautiful.
The garden is fantastic.
Very quite location. Reasonably short 15-20 minute drive to all main landmarks in the area.
All required houseware is available.
All beds are new.
As the house is very old, some things in the house are also very old. The renovation process is on its way, but I will take time (and money).
There's only one fully renovated bathroom with walk-in shower. The rest are bathtubs.
