In a courtyard setting to the centre of Padstow, Lantern Cottage is a wonderful place to stay, with sandy beaches, countryside and plenty of walking, cycling opportunities nearby.
Perfect for families or friends, this retreat promises a lovely get-away, bringing guests the best of comfort and relaxation all through their visit.
Access is from the main street via a communal entrance into an external courtyard, where you will be welcomed by an open-plan living area comprising of comfy L-shaped seating, a dining area for three people, and a modern kitchen with granite worktops.
The sociable layout is a fabulous way to commence your holiday.
A shower room lies on the ground floor, and the first floor offers two bedrooms, a single with en-suite shower room and a kingsize double room, both with built-in wardrobes.
A travel cot is also available should this be required.
Outdoors, the small courtyard is shared with other apartments and includes communal seating. Padstow is a glorious working fishing port surrounded by sandy beaches, at the head of the Camel River.
Watching the everyday ebb and flow of harbour life is a perfect way to spend a day.
This destination with popular eateries such as Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant, is the start and end point for the Camel Cycle Trail and a notable spot for water sports.

Lantern Cottage is a delightful cottage located in the village of Padstow, Cornwall. Hosting two bedrooms; a double, and a bunk room with en-suite, along with a ground floor shower room, this property can sleep up to three people. Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area. To the outside is parking in public car park roughly 5 minutes walk at £6 per day. Situated in a charming destination a couple of minutes walk to the harbour, Lantern Cottage is a homely retreat in a charm-filled part of England.

We had a lovely stay at Lantern Cottage. It was our second stay here and we enjoy the peace and quiet of the cottage. Power showers, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and well equipped and a great position in Padstow too. Good communication from booking agent also. Highly recommend.

A fabulous holiday cottage. As good a one that we have stayed in. A few minutes walk from the harbour and eight minutes walk to cheap parking at the main car park. It is warm, clean and welcoming. Everything down to the art hung on the walls is of a high quality. The owners have clearly put a great deal of time and effort into making it a great holiday cottage. We would rerun in a heartbeat.
