The Ivy Cottage is a first floor barn conversion set close to Kirk Ireton in Derbyshire. It has two bedrooms comprising of a king size and a single, there is also a single sofabed in the sitting room, there is a shower room and the cottage can sleep three or four people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. To the outside there is ample off road parking, The Ivy Barn is a stunning cottage in an excellent rural location with walks and cycle routes in the area.
This property does not have its own garden.

If you want to be away from the crowds, then Ivy Barn is ideal... It`s cosy, quirky and comfortable, located in the countryside... The bed was so comfy, plenty of hot water.. We loved feeding the two donkeys.... The barn was very well equipped, and the owners were so nice. Superb views of Carston Water too....

I can highly recommend Ivy Barn, it has everything you need, the owners are lovely. Its peaceful with stunning views of Carsington water, which you can access from a path next to the property. Enjoyed feeding the Donkeys with a few carrots. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the near future.

If you’re wanting a rural retreat, Ivy Barn is a great choice. It has a comfy bed, good shower and lovely views. We loved seeing the donkeys, pheasants, chickens and I was thrilled to spot a woodpecker on the bird feeder. We had a fab week and would definitely return.
