The cottage is a short walk from the wonderful Ventnor Botanic Garden, which benefits from The Undercliff’s Mediterranean climate, enabling many varieties of worldwide subtropical and temperate plants to thrive here.

As well as having a very popular café/restaurant, the gardens hold many exhibitions and events throughout the year.

Just a 15-minute walk along the coastal path will bring you to the island’s hidden treasure, Steephill Cove, where you can swim safely and stroll along its sand and shingle beach.

Watch the fisherman launch their boats, or sit on the beach enjoying a crab sandwich, while watching some of the islands most spectacular sunsets.
