Portimão's famous beach, Praia da Rocha, which means "rocky beach" in Portuguese, is spectacular and offers visitors plenty of sun and water activities. This beach is only 2 minutes (1.1 km) by car or 16 minutes walk from the property, while the beautiful Praia dos Tres Castelos beach, which literally means "three castles," is only 5 minutes by car (2.7 km) because of the three large rocks that rise from the water. Faro airport is 50 minutes (72 km) away by car.
