This holiday accommodation has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 guests comfortably: Property layout – Ground floor: - Well equipped kitchen and dining area - Cosy living room with TV and electric fire - Utility room providing extra storage and space - Bedroom 1: double ensuite sleeping 2 - Bedroom 2: twin ensuite sleeping 2 Outside this pretty holiday lodge is a small private garden with outside furniture, perfect for alfresco dining.
Wifi is available and towels are provided within the home This is strictly a no smoking holiday lodge. Pet Friendly Holiday HomeLakeside Lodge Bantry is a pet-friendly holiday lodge which will accept a maximum of 1 small dog per booking.
Please reserve your pet at the time of booking via our call centre , as your pet will not be accepted without prior confirmation. Heating and Electricity: This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner.
In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid.
We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking. 2.
Security Deposit: A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner.
This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival.
In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

Lovely cottage in a very peaceful location

The location is ideal for touring. The owners , Nora & Tom , were very attentive and helpful, a lovely couple. The interior is slightly dated but you know that before visiting , more importantly it is perfectly clean.

The cottage was ideal for our 1 week stay, along with our dog. Everything there that you need, along with a lovely garden where we sat some evenings, enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down over Bantry Bay!
Also, it is ideally situated for touring West Cork. Highly recommended!

Nora was so welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It is a great quiet base from which to explore the whole area.
The wi-fi signal was intermittent but possibly this was due to the location?
