This charming, tastefully decorated cottage offers you the perfect escape from everyday life. Experience authentic Finnish cottage life with log walls, while enjoying modern amenities such as a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a cozy sauna.
The cottage is located in a beautiful spot near pine forests, so you can enjoy a peaceful environment and beautiful views. Nearby Ruka is a skier's dream destination, Oulanka National Park offers stunning hiking opportunities, and in winter, nearby skiing trails are at your disposal.
The cottage is suitable for families and groups of friends, and can accommodate up to six people.
Located 10 km north of Kuusamo and 18 km from Ruka. Oivankijärvi lake is 50 meters away, with a sandy bottom and a rapidly deepening beach, and a rowing boat is available.
Harjula is a traditional log cabin built in 1986. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and 1 single bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed and 1 single bed. In addition, there is a combined living room and kitchen, two toilets, and an electric sauna.
Steep descent to the beach, wooden, safe stairs lead there, which are available for guests to use.
The beach has a sandy bottom (soft at deeper levels), quickly deepens and is not suitable for very small children.
Own boat (Suvi 402) and pier built 5/2023.
There is a barbecue hut on the beach that is shared with the neighboring cottage Mäntylä (not in winter use).
Harjula beach sauna is NOT available for guests to use.

Gemütliches Haus in wunderbarer Lage für einen erholsamen Urlaub.
Für 4 Personen geeignet, für 6 zu eng. Die Badezimmer sind sehr eng, ohne Ablagemöglichkeiten.
Besteck und Töpfe waren nicht sauber bei unserer Ankunft.

Top Haus, mitten im Wald. Abends Nordlichter über dem See, morgens Rentiere vor der Tür. Im Haus alles vorhanden.

Die Blockhütte war genauso wie man sich es vorstellt. Klasse! Die Ausstattung war perfekt, die Küche hatte alles was man benötigt, wie Kühl/Gefrierschrank, Geschirrspüler, etc etc... Alles da.
Sauna war auch vorhanden, also alles was das Herz begehrt. Diese war gleich perfekt hinter der Dusche und ...
Die Hauptverkehrsstraße war immer leicht zu hören. Keine absolute Ruhe, aber noch OK.
Ausstattung volle Punktzahl, weil mir persönlich nichts gefehlt hat. Aber manch einer möge bemängeln, daß es kein W-Lan gibt. Mich störte es nicht, zudem man in Finnland immer vollen Handyempfang hat. Notfalls Hotspot übers iPhone einrichten, damit man mit dem Laptop arbeiten kann (wer es braucht) ;-)
